Our Story
Warrgambi is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander word from the Gumbaynggirr Nation on the NSW Mid-North Coast of Australia which means “Working Together”. Tim Donovan is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Warrgambi & is a proud Gumbaynggirr man
The Warrgambi story starts in 2018 with a group of like minded individuals wanting to make a positive social impact through the industry sectors in which they had made their careers. This idea of “Working Together” evolved into the collaboration of other like minded businesses to assist to drive the continued expansion of opportunities. By the end of the first year of trading Warrgambi had been successful in procuring several Government and Private sector contracts and had achieved our Supply Nation Certification. Warrgambi continues to expand our operations, collaborations and industries of operation.
By “Working Together” with a collaborative approach we can create opportunities that can change the course of individuals life. By providing meaningful opportunity this can enable an individual to make their own choices and life direction.
January 2018 – Commenced Trading
March 2018 – Registered with Supply Nation and commenced our path to Certification
November 2018 – Awarded contract to provide Electronic Security Management Services to Department of the Environment and Energy
February 2019 – Achieved Supply Nation Certification
May 2019 – Awarded contract by Kane Constructions to deliver the Electronic Security Services for the Joint Health Command facility in Duntroon
June 2019 – Awarded a major project by the Department of the Environment and Energy to complete substantial upgrades to the electronic security infrastructure.
June 2019 – Awarded contract to provide Electronic and Physical Security Management Services to Canon Australia nationally.
June 2019 – Awarded contract by the Department of Industry, Innovation, and Science to upgrade their Electronic Key Management Systems
July 2019 – Awarded contract to deliver Fire Maintenance Services in accordance to AS1851 to Questacon, Geoscience Australia, and Department of Health by Evolve FM.
July 2019 – Endorsement of our Reflect Reconciliation Plan by Reconciliation Australia
November 2019 – Commence Partner Agreement with Art of Mentoring
November 2019 – Commence Partnership with Boon Edam Australia as ACT Sales and Service Agent
January 2020 – Awarded contract to provide specialized training services to the Department of Defence – DST Group
February 2020 – Chris Morris-Burrow joins the Warrgambi Team as Senior Facilitator
March 2020 – Achieve Motorola Avigilon Direct Partner status
March 2020 – Sign Reseller Agreement with CIC Technology for national distribution and maintenance for their products
April 2020 – Achieve InnerRange Infiniti Partner Program Certification
August 2020 – Receive ACT Employee Agent Licence
September 2020 – Achieved Third Party accreditation of our Integrated Management System to ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO 45001
September 2020 – Dave Reid starts as our Fire Solutions Archtiect
